I will have a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification. This means that I have completed requirements for education and experience, as well as, passed the examination administered by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB). The BACB is a non-profit corporation that has established uniform criteria for the credentialing process. This criteria meets the legal standars, certification program standars, and ethical standards of the behaviour analysis profession.
The education that I will have completed includes: an ABA support worker certificate, a Bachelor of Arts with a Psychology major, a Masters of Applied Behavioural Analysis with a concentration in special education for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities.
